Before I answer the question of what is the best home based business, let me set the scene to put this question in context.
In the year 2020, it is no surprise that most people are looking for additional ways to supplement their income. Almost everyone that I talk to on a daily basis is looking for ways to earn extra money from home and they are looking for the best home businesses to start.
Family finances are being squeezed in every direction. The cost of living is rising every year, with food and fuel prices being at their highest levels in history. The reality is that most of us are ‘existing’ (not truly living) through the worst and most challenging economic climate that the world has ever seen.
We therefore need to find the best home based businesses to help us achieve financial security in our spare time.
Unfortunately, when times are this tough, it is tempting for us to ‘blame the economy’, ‘blame the government’, ‘blame the company’ in which we work for our lack of income.
It is common to hear people talking about ‘the changes’ that they hope the government would make, ‘the changes’ that they believe the banks should make, ‘the changes’ that employers should make.
The reality is that these ‘external forces’ are not going to change because we as individuals cannot influence them.
However, many people are struggling to come to terms with and accept the fact that for things to change for the better – they have got to change themselves for the better.
As the worldwide legendary speaker Jim Rohn famously said, “For things to change – you have to change.” You don’t have to try to change or hope to change circumstances that are beyond your own personal control, you don’t need to; changing yourself for the better is enough!
As individuals – we cannot possibly control the government, the banks or the global economy! All we have to be prepared to do is make a positive change for ourselves and then everything will change for us.
Stop and think about that for a minute. They are some of the wisest words you may ever hear on the topic of personal development!
The Importance Of Why We Need To Change
What Is The Best Home Based Business?
Now that we have set the scene, I can now answer the question of what is the best home based business.
There is a plethora of choice in the world with regards to home based businesses. Home based businesses exist for almost any niche you can think of. From health drinks to diet pills, from mobile phones to beauty products.
However, many home based business products have little or no viability and people soon end up with a garage full of perishable products that they just cannot sell!
Right – I’m going to get straight to the point here. I believe that the best home based business is one where you do what you enjoy most and or are good at.
There are literally 1000’s of ways to make money from home or make money online and many of them work successfully if you decide that you are going to do the work and commit to them 100%.
Most importantly, the best home based business is one that you will enjoy doing! It is very difficult to be successful at something that you don’t like doing!
Sometimes in life, we have to be prepared to think outside the box and do things differently if we want to make a positive change to our lives.
The biggest challenge with finding out what is the best home based business is that it is a little subjective. The best home based business is ultimately one that you enjoy and are good at.

Great post Tristan. While I agree that ISN is a great vehicle to set up your own business, as well as help protect your money from future economic craziness, it isn’t for everyone.
That isn’t a bad thing, it just means you actually have to get up off your butt and do something… anything.
But should anyone join your team then I know personally how much support is available. All you have to do is ask.
All the best
Thank you very much Andy – really appreciate your comment – thank you. 🙂
